Asset Valuation System (AVS)

What does AVS do?

AVS provides a quick and easy way to perform bulk re-valuations of vehicle portfolios at current and / or at any future date. It is data supplier independent and has the potential to be deployed in any country where valuation data is available.

Suitable for any business with significant exposure to changing vehicle values, AVS can accept user vehicle data (cars, LCVs etc) to be valued in virtually any format/layout and produce valuations based on contractual, actual or standard mileage data. AVS automates, controls and audits the whole process of (re)forecasting and monitoring vehicle RV’s and provides extensive MIS / analysis opportunities. Tens of thousands of vehicles can be re-valued in minutes.

AVS was developed in collaboration with major motor manufacturer finance companies.

Who might use AVS?

  • Fleet, contract hire and retail finance companies
  • Vehicle rental and short term hire companies
  • Vehicle retail outlets or companies running their own sizable vehicle fleet

Why use AVS?

  • Easily compare and contrast the RV (re)forecasts from multiple industry experts
  • Instant ‘stock’ revaluation and RV trend analysis
  • Monitor previously forecast RV’s, guaranteed RV’s, buybacks etc against latest market data
  • Project end of finance term equity / loss position
  • Analyse RV’s/exposure by vehicle, model, make, sector, dealer, region etc
  • Quickly value potential vehicle portfolio acquisitions

How does AVS work?

  • Uses industry standard market valuation data (e.g. CAP, Glass’s) as required (and sourced) by the customer
  • Accepts customer vehicle data in virtually any format (using customer controlled settings)
  • If customer data is not already encoded with standard vehicle codes, AVS has a powerful matching facility
  • Encoded/matched data is processed ‘real time’ against the market valuation data
  • Mileage calculations can be based on contractual miles, actual speedometer data, user input averages
  • AVS is modern technology and can be installed on a single PC or PC/Server environment
